This coffee was a collaborative effort with one of our Kickstarter backers. Go check out their story at http://www.mourningstory.com/.
The coffee comes from the Asociacion de Productores Cafetaleros Juan Marco El Palto (JUMARP), also known as "El Palto". This microlot was cultivated by farmer Carloman Carranza Montenegro at an altitude ranging from 1600-1800 masl. Women represent 40 of the organizations families, including continual representation on their Board of Directors.
