Best espresso

I tried matriarch espresso on a whim because I found it at my local Walmart and thought that the flavor notes were funny and worth giving a shot. It has now been my go to coffee for over a year now and even though my Walmart stopped carrying it, I still order it from Mad Priest because it’s that damn good. I’ve tried other espresso coffee blends, but nothing compares to the flavor that they’ve created with this coffee blend!

This coffee is so delicious! I grind it for my moka pot and im excited to see how it does as a cold brew. They sent a hand written card in reply to my note on the order which was super nice.

Great beans

I am usually a little skeptical about ordering "espresso" beans because they're either a. charred to death to make extraction easier b. lower quality (broken/fragmented) or c. both, but these were mentioned to me by a local coffee shop that uses them so I was inclined to try.

Their beans are a proper medium roast, pass the visual-check for quality, and the flavor is complex and floral. I have already ordered some for a friend and will order more for myself once I run out; these will be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

The espresso blend is very very good. My son gave me a bag for Christmas and then I ordered a 2# bag. Really enjoy this coffee!!!

Cure for the doldrums

If your floundering with boring coffee's and even your local coffee shops have let you down, this is the ticket! I don't jump out of bed but toddle down the hallway to get this rich cup to start the day. What a positive experience.
