This delicious darker-roasted coffee is a 50/50 blend of rotating washed Latin American coffees sourced through Caravela Coffee Importers. While the coffees in this blend change occasionally due to sourcing similar coffees from the freshest harvest, there’s always a consistent balance of sweet and nutty with a medium to heavy body.

We roast Dark Night to just after the start of the second crack giving this “dark” roast all the roasty toasty lovelies while maintaining sweetness.

Disappointed

Dark Night of the Soul was advertised as a dark roast. It is not. It is a medium-dark roast, emphasis on medium. You roasted these beans to the point right before it would actually become a true dark roast. Do you have a true dark roast? Something that would have a 5/5 rating on your roasting scale?

I’ve enjoyed 2 brands of coffee as my favorites for 6 years. We were out of state on vacation when I found a bag of Dark Night of the Soul in a store. One sip! Bang! DNOTS is dark, rich, seductive, and addictive. It’s now my #1 coffee and it’s just about all I drink.
