Located at 1400 meters above sea level under the watchful eye of Mount Tenan, the fifty-acre farm is home to rare micro-lots. Formerly a cattle farm, Finca La Unica was purchased in 2016 by Leticia. A 5th generation coffee farmer, Leticia is proud to be an example for women by owning her own land and taking ownership of a role typically reserved for men in Honduras. I was intrigued by the description of “honey processed” coffee so I bought 12 oz of beans. They ground up nicely and the flavors are appropriately light but full. Lots of overtones that I perceived as floral and chocolate. I’m also a fan of coffee that doesn’t screw over the farmers for excessive profits, so there’s that. Well done Mad Priest! This coffee is a sacramental blessing all by itself.

I have enjoyed all the coffee that I have gotten from mad priest. I prefer a Medium to Dark roast since I use it in a espresso machine.
I have purchased sloth breakfast blend numerous times and it’s amazing but I tried left behind and it might be my new favorite. These guys know their craft. Keep up the good work.
