Matriarch - Espresso Blend

I was a happy Bottomless Scale disciple and you changed the Way! I now think I have ordered twice while simply trying to subscribe to the new Way of being blessed with fresh beans! Please put me on the right path of recurring orders every 6 weeks! I just opened my 07/24/2026 order this morning! AND I think there is an order already in the queue that I accidentally ordered the first time I tried to subscribe to your new system!
At 76 years of age, I DO tend to have technological issues with virtual shopping and Zoom worship!

So I used to live in the Chattanooga area and fell in love with Mad Priest “Matriarch” coffee. Then I moved to Decatur Alabama for my job. Well I will tell you that there is nothing like this coffee anywhere that I have been! NOT ANYWHERE! It’s this specific roast that I just can’t get away from, so I order it by the 5 lb bag by mail so I never run out. Thank you Mad Priest for keeping my relationship alive and well from 135 miles a way!!!

Delicious flavor profile, wonderful both hot or cold. A definite recommendation to family and friends. Will absolutely be purchasing again.

I tried matriarch espresso on a whim because I found it at my local Walmart and thought that the flavor notes were funny and worth giving a shot. It has now been my go to coffee for over a year now and even though my Walmart stopped carrying it, I still order it from Mad Priest because it’s that damn good. I’ve tried other espresso coffee blends, but nothing compares to the flavor that they’ve created with this coffee blend!

This coffee is so delicious! I grind it for my moka pot and im excited to see how it does as a cold brew. They sent a hand written card in reply to my note on the order which was super nice.

I am usually a little skeptical about ordering "espresso" beans because they're either a. charred to death to make extraction easier b. lower quality (broken/fragmented) or c. both, but these were mentioned to me by a local coffee shop that uses them so I was inclined to try.

Their beans are a proper medium roast, pass the visual-check for quality, and the flavor is complex and floral. I have already ordered some for a friend and will order more for myself once I run out; these will be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

The espresso blend is very very good. My son gave me a bag for Christmas and then I ordered a 2# bag. Really enjoy this coffee!!!

If your floundering with boring coffee's and even your local coffee shops have let you down, this is the ticket! I don't jump out of bed but toddle down the hallway to get this rich cup to start the day. What a positive experience.

I love their coffee! The matriarch is probably my favorite blend I’ve tried. I found it first in Walmart but now I realize I can order it straight from them. Highly recommend. It’s got a great taste and makes high quality coffee. Super fresh

First had this at the new Mad Priest Mecca so I’ve now ordered and made home espresso from it and my home setup is in serious need of an upgrade but still enjoyed the cortados and lattes from this blend. Could be roasted a hair darker ?

Over the years, I have tried all sorts of beans in my Breville machine . These are the best!

We had been searching for a coffee, most became fertilizer, which made for expensive fertilizer. I came across Matriarch Espresso, and it was exactly what I was looking for. This is so good, a deep coffee flavor that is good or compliments a cookie or toast. The house smells delicious too! I and the other 2 adults in our house highly recommend it!

Best coffee ever!

These are THE BEST beans that we have found for espresso. They have the best and most distinct smell that is just an absolute delight first thing in the morning. And of course they are always super fresh! We will continue to get our beans from Mad Priest!!

What the title says. Matriarch blend has completely changed my coffee drinking habits. I'll never need to (or want to) buy a drink when I've got this at home.

This is a nice balance of dark roast without being oily.
